Carol Conklin is a New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University at Buffalo.
Carol has advanced clinical training in: sexual addiction assessment, evaluation, & treatment; healing from childhood trauma and abuse; marital and sex therapy; and substance & behavioral addictions. She is also a certified therapist in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These techniques are synthesized into a unique curriculum that is applicable to both individual and group therapy situations.
Carol is a popular workshop leader and conference speaker. She serves as a consultant for the Buffalo News, and local television and radio stations, for issues related to sexually compulsive behavior.
In addition to her clinical work, Carol has 15 years of executive level management experience.
Antanien Slomba, MSED, CASACT

Antanien is a compassionate, supportive therapist and spiritual wellness educator with extensive knowledge of mental health issues and symptom management. Antanien specializes in addiction and recovery, women’s issues, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder and spiritual development. She is an eclectic therapist with a holistic approach, incorporating a variety of therapeutic modalities as well as spiritual intelligence to ensure client specific treatment. Her 20 years of mental health counseling experience ranges from adolescents to adults, in individual and group sessions. Antanien’s strength in global culture and religion have developed an ability to relate to clients and their families to facilitate opportunities for independence and cohesiveness through an accepting and nourishing therapeutic environment.
Antanien graduated with honors from Canisius College with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Education. She is trained in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, Mindfulness and Addictions/Recovery counseling. She is an active member of the Chi Sigma Iota, Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International and is a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor in training.
In addition to her clinical work, Antanien is involved with iOppose, Inc., helping to promote prevention of sexual exploitation of children. She is also a published writer, a world traveler and is proficient in public speaking. Antanien has spearheaded programs in various areas of nutrition, stress management and spirituality to support working environment and staff dynamics.
